Let it Snow! Let it Snow! Let it Snow! ist ein Popsong aus dem Jahr 1945. Den Text und die Musik haben Sammy Cahn und Jule Styne geschrieben. Tatsächlich wurde das Lied nicht speziell für Weihnachtszeit geschrieben, denn von Weihnachten ist in dem Lied auch gar keine Rede. In Amerika entwickelte sich das Lied allerdings schnell zu einem der bekanntesten Weihnachtsliedern. Aber das Lied blieb nicht nur in Amerika, sondern verbreitete sich rasend schnell weltweit zu einem absolutem Weihnachtshit.
Über die Jahre haben sich einige Arrangements für Blasorchester etabliert, die in der Vorweihnachtszeit nicht fehlen dürfen. Das Arrangement von Johnny Vinson ist ein sogenanntes Flex-Arrangement, das mit nur 5 Musikern spielbar ist. Flex-Arrangements zielen vor allem auf kleinere Ensembles ab, bei denen nicht gewährleistet ist, dass immer alle Stimmen besetzt sind. Sie können aber auch in größeren Orchestern gespielt werden. Zu den fünf Melodiestimmen gibt es zusätzlich noch vier Schlagzeugstimmen. Für ein kleines Ständchen an Weihnachten oder einem der Adventssonntage eignet sich dieses Arrangement hervorragend.
